Samrat Prithviraj is a 2022 Indian Hindi -language Historical Action Drama Film Driected by Chandraprkash Dwivedi & produced by Yash Raj Films. The Film is based on Prithviraj raso, a Braj Language Epic poem About the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, A king from the Chahamana Dynasty it Features Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan while Manushi Chhillar makes her Hindi Film debut playing the role of Sanyogita. The Film also stars Sanjay Dutt. Sonu Sood, Manav Vij, Ashutosh Rana And Sakdhi Tanwar in other pivotal roles.

Principal photography began in Jaipur on 15 November 2019, but was suspended in March 2020 owing to COVID-19 pandemic in India , due to which the film was indefinitely postponed. The Film's shoot Resumed in October 2020 at YRF Studios, Originally titled Prithviraj, the film was Renamed as Samrat Prithviraj following a court litigation a week ahead of its Scheduled released, the film Was Rekeased on 3 June 2022.

responses from critics. it was made on a reported budget Between
₹150 crore (US$20 million)-300 crore (US$39 million), And amassed a
worldwide gross collection off ₹84.86 crore (US$11 million) as of
16 June 2022. The Earnings From The Eaely days did not meet the
Expectation. This followed by Cancellations Of The Shows Due To Zero
Occupancy, led to a major Box Office Disaster.
